Computer Doc & Associates is looking for a focused and highly motivated Residential Computer Support Technician to provide residential onsite repair services in the Troup County & surrounding areas.
Duties for the Residential Computer Support Technician will include installing computer software/hardware, diagnosing and repairing residential tech problems, configuring home networks, performing regular system maintenance, promoting cyber security practices and assisting end users with tech troubles. Your outstanding tech expertise and knowledge will assist our company in improving onsite repair efficiency, enhancing the customer service experience, and ensuring that our client’s repair needs are met.
Residential Computer Support Technician responsibilities, but not limited to:
-Quickly Identifying and troubleshooting tech problems.
-Maintaining hardware and software. Computers, Printers, etc.
-Resolving home network and connectivity issues.
-Installing & updating software applications.
-Handling computer security assessments & updates.
-Providing technical support for end users.
-Documenting on site visit findings.
-Utilizing our ticketing system for documentation.
-Following internal standard operating procedures.
Computer Technician Requirements:
-CompTIA A+ certification is desired but not required.
-1+ yr experience in a tech support role desired but not required.
-Strong attention and focus to detail.
-Ability to brainstorm creative solutions to complex problems is essential.
-Must have strong time management skills.
-Must be able to work effectivley with minimal supervision.
-Understanding of the functions of basic computer hardware and software.
-Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude are a must.
-Ability to explain technical issues in layman's terms to end users.
-Must have sound analytical thinking skills and attention to detail.
-Must have reliable and presentable transportation.
